Gently used books can be donated to The Reading Is Fun Program. We are looking for Early Readers and Picture Books for children ages 4 and 5. We will also accept gently used art supplies and games. Please go to the contact us page to email us and we will set up a collection day/time.

The RIF office in the First United Methodist Church in downtown Schenectady is already filled up with 900+ children's books and writing supplies. RIF has partnerships with: the Schenectady City School District, the Schenectady City School District Education Foundation,  the Schenectady Boys and Girls Club, the Schenectady First United Methodist Church, , the Schenectady County Sheriff's Office/Jail and the Schenectady Police Department.  

 

The Reading Is Fun Program's Grant Director is continuing to search for Grants and Donations to help sustain our growing program.
